ABSTRACT

Improvingglobalhealthconditionshasbeenoneofthemostimportantanddifficult challengesfortheworldcommunity.Despiteconcertedeffortsbyinternational organizations,liketheWorldHealthOrganization,greatdisparitiesinhealthconditionsremainbetweendevelopedanddevelopingcountries,aswellaswithinthose countries.TheWorldHealthOrganizationhasachievedsomesuccessesthrough itsHealthforAllstrategy;however,itcanandshouldencouragemembernations toenactnationalandinternationallawstoprotectandpromotethehealthstatusof theirpopulations.AcomparisontothelawmakingeffortsinotherareasbyinternationalorganizationsindicatesthatWHOmayhavetheauthorityandthemeans toinstitutionalizeeffortstoimproveglobalhealthconditions.
