ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we provide a brief history of the faith and spirituality in the workplace movement and define some of the more common terms used, such as spirit, spirituality, faith, and religion. Three models for the development of human consciousness will be briefly presented, and guidelines for discussing spirituality in the workplace will be provided.
