ABSTRACT
There is a growing use of projects and project management in the world. As more and more people grow out of poverty and rise up the Maslow hierarchy of needs they are reaching the pinnacle of Maslow’s pyramid, namely self-actualisation or, as he called it, “spirituality.” People want to work on projects that make a difference in the world, and they want work that is meaningful.
