ABSTRACT
As described earlier the sources of risk are external, political, commercial, technical, people and processes. The list below gives some example risks for a bid within these categories. This example is loosely based upon an outsourcing procurement for an EMEA (Europe and Middle East Area) wide manufacturing company. The bid involved a number of specialist suppliers in addition to the prime contractor company that provided the Bid Manager.
