ABSTRACT
A key thing you must always do yourself is to model safety at all times (whether undertaking a safety conversation or not). It’s often said that the highest standard you can expect from those that work for you is the lowest standard you set yourself. All managers and supervisors are role models whether they like it
or not (so are safety representatives, experienced workers and the charismatic individuals who are admired in the canteen).
