ABSTRACT
The preceding chapter has shown the global shift towards more interventionist policies, from the retail and transport planning perspectives, in regulating unplanned retail decentralisation. It is envisaged that such trends will result in the provision of wider choices of planned retail facilities and greater choices, as well as better quality modes of public transport. As illustrated in Figure 1.1, this will affect shoppers' choice processes.
