ABSTRACT
This determines, first, what facts may be proved in order to ascertain the innocence or guilt of the accused person and, secondly, how and by whom those facts may be proved. The word ‘evidence’ means the facts, testimony and documents that may legally be adduced in order to ascertain the fact under enquiry.
