ABSTRACT

The question of creativity, especially advancing or accelerating creativity, can be posed cosmologically or anthropologically. Did the cosmos already exhibit creativity prior to the appearance and evolutionary development of homo sapiens? Or is creativity something introduced for the first time by human imagination and invention? Is human creativity itself an emergent phenomenon, or does it depend on a prior creative advance that makes it possible? To these questions we might want to add a theological one: is human creativity tied in any essential way to divine creativity?
