ABSTRACT

This chapter will aim to develop a conceptual tool to measure mobility, and for this purpose it has been divided into three sections. The first discusses the limits of the concept of mobility. The second is devoted to the development of a conceptual device to be used to surpass these limits. The third section proposes to evaluate the significance of spatial mobility as a possible vector of social fluidity based on the proposed conceptual device.
