ABSTRACT
Members of parliaments in the West have been more and more active since the middle of the 1960s, a trend that has been noted in such countries as Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the US. Today’s representatives put more questions, introduce more bills, participate in more floor debates and quite simply do more parliamentary work than their fore-runners. 1
