ABSTRACT

Let’s get down to work. Although outside factors pushing sponsors to go global may direct them to any number of nations, it doesn’t mean those countries will always be the best choice to host a particular study. Taking a patient recruitment perspective, we start with the protocol and its particular enrollment challenges, and compare those to a set of patient-related factors in each country to determine which countries are the best fit for the study. That is, identify those countries that have the fewest recruitment barriers and will likely enroll the most patients in the least amount of time. Here’s how you figure that out.
