ABSTRACT

There comes a time in every study when the data collecting ceases and the intensive data analysis begins. Analysis is the most important aspect of the work. During the analysis, thinking and reasoning are not confined to any particular stage of the assignment. As the work proceeds, the analyst is always comparing one bit of information with another, all the while keeping in mind the overall goals and objectives of the system or organization being studied. At the end of the data collection phase, however, the analytical effort becomes the predominant activity and is therefore considered as a separate function.
