ABSTRACT

There are three aspects to a forms management program which, when combined, enable the objectives to be met. These are forms control; forms analysis, design and composition; and forms reproduction, stocking, and distribution. These are similar to aspects of the reports management program (Chapter 14), and, in many respects, forms and reports management programs function almost identically. The basic difference between the two is that forms management personnel must have the highly specialized forms design knowledge and an understanding of the printing, stocking and distribution functions in addition to the more general analytical expertise which is a basic requirement for all records management professionals.
