ABSTRACT
Reflecting on the scriptures, Catholic theology has described the indwelling Holy Spirit as ‘uncreated grace.’ Karl Rahner has written of the indwelling Spirit as a quasi-formal cause and the primary meaning of grace in human beings and their world to which God has determined to communicate himself.
