ABSTRACT
The previous chapter began by making the case for modelling the sentence decisionmaking process, arguing that process modelling is important for understanding the relationship between the legal and social dynamics of international sentencing. The chapter continued to develop this notion of sentence modelling by analysing the legal context of international sentence decision-making.1
