ABSTRACT
Professor Lori Lockyer originates from Toronto, Canada and moved to Australia in 1997 to commence her doctoral candidature. After graduating she decided to take up a full-time academic position and is now the Associate Dean (Research and Graduate) in the Faculty of Education. Her field of specialty is educational technology, and her focus has included, but is not restricted to, research on using technology to support health and medical education. Since 1994, she has attracted more than AUD$3.4 million dollars in research funding from competitive funding schemes and industry.
