ABSTRACT

This chapter is first of the six chapters of Part Five of this book, in which selected management practices and processes are summarized and analysed.

This chapter describes techniques of personal time management. It is based on the premise that the leader or manager’s most important resource is his or her time. Time acts as a limiting factor on the quantity and quality of the individual’s work, and on its productivity. Effective time management as critical success factor is therefore one of the determinants of the outcomes of that individual’s work.
