ABSTRACT
These relatively high population growth rates produce population pyramids that are broad at the base (large proportion o f those aged less than 14) and narrow at the top (very few aged over 60). On average 34 percent of Bahrainis, 43 percent o f Kuwaitis and Omanis will be aged below 15, and 4.8 percent of Bahrainis, 2.7 percent o f Kuwaitis and 3.4 percent of Omanis will be aged over 64 between 1990-2025.
