ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on planning, building the atmosphere for positive team interactions, setting the parameters for triangular integration and looking at some of the criteria required for individual empowerment. To establish good foundations, planning and preparation are crucial. This is as true for building or construction work as it is for self-development. The foundations include addressing personal empowerment, establishing the roles in triangular integration, applying development objectives, reviewing the benefits of co-operative team working – all of these building towards a holistic effect as a result of developed individual strengths and shortfalls. Forward planning is an integral part of monitoring progress. Time spent on preparing foundations and arranging logistics will be more than saved through smooth and steady progress. A trainer considers where they have some degree of co-operative involvement and the triangular integration is working, there should be plenty of sources of help to call upon.
