ABSTRACT
SUMMARY It is becoming increasingly clear. Building a sustainable world is non-negotiable. Failure to achieve this will result in the failure of human civilisation as it is currently known. The stakes are that high. Therefore, as with any successful plan, we must put in place economic and financial frameworks with which to manage the development and funding of sustainability. These range from the development of alternative energy sources, improved food and water sources to supporting biodiversity.
