The Impact of Socially Responsible Investment upon Corporate Social Responsibility

In recent years, interest in socially responsible investing has grown around the world. The European Commission helped launch the European Sustainable and Responsible Investment Forum (Eurosif) in 2001. Eurosif unites existing forums in the UK, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, and Switzerland, and aims to encourage shareholder action on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies and publish reports on socially responsible investment issues to influence public policy.
