ABSTRACT
The Human Factors Route Assessment Checklist, or RAC, is based on the Human Factors SPAD Hazard Checklist, a tool that was developed for Network Rail in 2002 to enable a rational, objective and coherent approach to the investigation of human factors causes of signals passed at danger (SPADs). (Human Engineering, 2002; 2004).
