ABSTRACT
The last chapter gave attention to the nature of the plight of humankind and established that it can be understood as an identification with the flesh, with the locus of separate individual existence. Because the flesh is mortal, so the person who identifies themselves with the flesh, lives with the expectation that he or she will die when the flesh dies. This reality shapes and limits their life.
