ABSTRACT
In queer theory sibling love is everywhere and nowhere. It receives (relatively) little attention yet it is iconically and poetically present. More basically it also provides an unspoken model for some of the more aspirational drives of this body of thought. And in doing so sibling love in queer theory replicates and echoes some of the primary modes in which brotherly, sisterly loves are represented in American writing.
