ABSTRACT

When George Michaelides, a director of the London media strategy company Michaelides and Bednash, was looking for ideas for a new and different workplace, he got inspiration from a visit to the old Daily M ail newsroom in Fleet Street. In the editorial newspaper office there is a long tradition of everybody - editors, reporters and sub-editors - working together at long desks out in the open. No secrets, no hiding places, just one purpose - putting out the paper.
