ABSTRACT
Controlling a project means trying to do everything according to the plans you have made and then measuring what is actually happening. Control happens when steps are taken to correct anything that shows any sign of deviating from what you want. But can you control everything? There will always be risks, and the prudent project manager will try to anticipate those. Risk management has come more into prominence as part of a project manager’s skill in recent years. Project managers should think about the risks before the project starts and then review those risks at regular intervals.
