ABSTRACT
Potential sites for mixed pumped storage are limited by geographical and hydrological conditions to utilize natural inflow effectively and they are, in many cases, constructed in combination with multi-purpose projects for flood control, irrigation, water diversion and so forth. The operating heads for these plants are therefore not very high.
