It also needs to strengthen levels of awareness in the manufacturing sector. These are the key stages in assessing and responding to a research questionnaire like that:

• What type of service is the client looking for? • What are the success factors in delivering that service? • How do you perform in terms of success factors? • What improvement programmes need to be implemented? • How well do competitors meet client requirements? • What are their strengths and weaknesses?
