ABSTRACT
This would be a customary arrangement in a guide to the holdings of an archives service where sets of descriptions at Levels 2 and 3 are combined horizontally (see Figure IV.6, p. 143). The whole gives an overview of the general holdings of the repository, or of a significant part of it.
