ABSTRACT
Normally discussions about European law follow two different approaches. On one hand they look at national systems and compare them in order to find a common set of rules or values.1 On the other hand, they look at the relationship between national laws and Europeans laws in order to find out if and to what degree national legal systems meet the requirements of the European directives.2 In both cases, however, the perspective focuses on the national level.
