ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I will examine two Dutch translations of Guillaume Du Bartas’s La Sepmaine, ou Creation du monde [e Week, or Creation of the World], produced separately in 1616 by Dirck Pietersz. Pers in Amsterdam and Zacharias Heyns from Zwolle. e biblical illustrations of both editions will be the particular focus of my examination.1
