ABSTRACT

Putting these radical new ideas into practice will be a challenge, especially for those working in conservative or riskaverse organisations. This is why hyperthinkers need to find new ways to collaborate, share ideas and spread their values. Creativity and engagement are essentially functions of the individual, but they are also partly created by the surroundings in which the hyperthinker works and the people they work with. Thus far, the main focus of this book has been on what individuals can do to change their mindset as this is the area over which we have most personal and immediate control. We are able to transform a great deal both for ourselves and whatever projects we happen to be working on by improving our mindset. However, when looking at how individuals are able to bring about change in their organisations and society at large, the role of others and of the environment in which we work is critical. In this chapter I will explore how to bring a culture of hyperthinking into your organisation or your team.
