ABSTRACT

As author and coach Luc Limère likes to say, ‘Energy flows where the intention goes’, and it is vital for hyperthinkers to focus only on positive things because that is where their energy will flow. If the negativity is allowed to dominate, valuable mental energy will be drawn inexorably towards it and ultimately wasted. This explains why a workplace in which negativity

festers unchecked can seem as if it is in a tailspin. Negative emotion feeds on itself, becoming self-fulfilling to such an extent that counteracting what is, in effect, a contamination becomes almost impossible. By remaining visibly positive and upbeat in the face of the severest setbacks hyperthinkers can help prevent this disastrous situation from materialising in the first place, and they can also provide the energy that fuels the forward momentum of good ideas.
