ABSTRACT
Training does not end as the last delegate leaves. It is often only the start and the trainer can play an important role in guaranteeing further learning.
Just as the opening session sets the tone for the whole event the closing session provides the foundations on which the students' future learning will be based. The closing session should comprise three elements:
• a reflection and feedback of the event • an opportunity for students to plan their next steps in the learning
process • the start of disengagement, including the chance to say farewells and
prepare for re-entry into home and business life.
