ABSTRACT
One of many initial considerations for this chapter is rooted in my interest in the subjective experience of geographical and cultural rupture. How is such rupture able to shake the individual sexual/erotic sense of self (and, also, do so productively), so that ‘afterward’ it seems different, perhaps less universalised than it had before?
