ABSTRACT

I n today's organizations often the only source of competitive advantage is innovation. Successful companies need to change more quickly than the world around them and, specifically, more quickly than their cus-

tomers and competitors. The only way for organizations to change in this way, to learn to do new things, is to constantly renew themselves and innovate. The only way that innovation will happen is if committed and energized people push against the inertia inherent within all organizations and actually try out their ideas. They have to 'do' something, to make things happen and to experiment.
