Summary and Conclusion: Korean Employment Relations and HRM at the Crossroads

In this chapter, we summarize the main findings and themes of this book, assess the current status of Korean employment relations (ER) and human resource management (HRM) and discuss the prospects for the future. We will then conclude by outlining the policy implications of our findings for the state, employers and the labour force.
