ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in this book. The book shows that the mode of divine revelation is one that maintains the lawfulness of the created universe, rightly interpreted to include a doctrine of human nature in which men and women are constituted by God as agents in relationship. The purpose of God in revelation to re-establish the sovereignty of human beings over the created world and the possibility of a free and loving relationship with himself and one another is precisely the purpose of God for the whole creation. Revelation is an integral part of the whole movement of God to the world in the incarnation of Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit. The book then describes the characteristics of a Christian education based on the model of revelation and learning.
