ABSTRACT
There is immense scope for developing project-based learning internationally. In this chapter we draw together some early experiences of this emerging area from the following perspectives:
Differences in national culture can have a significant impact on the acceptability of project-based learning as a methodology.
In the increasingly global setting in which managers operate, projects can provide a means of benchmarking performance.
At first degree level, it is increasingly becoming common practice internationally to include a project element as part of the curriculum. For first management appointments, the project-based learning methodology has a useful fit.
