ABSTRACT

Modern cruise ships, indeed, are a testament to human ingenuity. The marriage of shaped metal, glass and wood that house and move thousands of people at once over water cannot but command attention. Cruise ships in the midst of loading and unloading passengers, seafarers, baggage and supplies may be even more aweinspiring given the logistics involved in coordinating constant movements of cargo, as well as the salient presence of seafarers from so many countries of the world.
