ABSTRACT
All buildings and offices containing sensitive operations should be identifiedand protected to a specified level, according to the appropriate hardwarestandard. Where possible, designs should be in accordance with the standards of the National Crime Prevention Institute, Architectural Design and Space Management Concept^ and should work on the principles of controlled space, territoriality and perceptual security (see Control tools, Appendix C). All important buildings should be surveyed by a security specialist at least once every two years.
