ABSTRACT
With the humiliating defeat of the Pakistani arrned force s in the East and consequent emergence of an independent B angla De sh, the military situation in this region of Asia has undergone a change. It is, therefore, imperativethat we carry out a reappraisal of the military threat to our country and reorganise o ur defences accordingly.
