ABSTRACT

Having established our understanding of the strategy, we now move to telling the story of the strategy more effectively. By the end of this chapter you will be a better storyteller. You will be able to tell the story of your strategy in a compelling manner that engages people. You will learn about the power of stories and how they are used in organizations to communicate its ethos. These stories are often metaphors for how the organization is changing. You will also understand the power of quotations, for as someone once said, ‘A well chosen quote is worth a thousand words.’
