ABSTRACT
Modelling cognitive processes is a scientific process. As the genesis of modelling showed, cognitive modelling always depends on an actual current scientific ‘wave’ or ‘fashion’ of cognitive, technological or social developments (cf. also Kuhn, 1976). The rules for scientific reasoning can be used to find a way to approach the complexity of the issue.
