ABSTRACT
All who take to the air know that what they wear affects both their ability to perform their inflight role and their chance of surviving accidental exposure to the external environment. A brief review of the natural hazards faced by all aircrew and the additional risks faced those who operate military aircraft is given in Chapter 3.
