ABSTRACT
A design for the study of wastage involves systematic approaches for investigating the three components of wastage: non-enrolment, repetition and dropout. Broadly, each of the component is examined in terms of three crucial aspects; the perceived causes, the perceived solutions, and assessments of current initiatives with respect to achieving reductions in the contributions of each of the three components to wastage.
