ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the results of the evaluation studies of projects in tenns of: (a) background infonnation including the rationale for their establishment, the intended beneficiaries and the sponsors; (b) the specific objectives of the projects and their organizational structures; and (c) project activities or services and the costs of operating the projects where this kind of infonnation is available. The fonnat presented here is applied to projects within the framework of the five broad types of initiatives that were identified for the evaluation study.
