ABSTRACT
The demise of the nation-state and the emergence of a borderless world have in recent time been predicted by a number of writers, particularly economic theorists. Such bold predictions of vanishing boundaries have emerged in response to the undeniably powerful forces working towards internationalization and globalization in the world today.
