ABSTRACT

The movements of the tubular steel chair with its bright arms, or of light pieces of paper, are shown in all their various positions, revealing a shifting ghostly world, visible in the image but which would have been invisible to the eye of anyone actually in the room. In places the image becomes a blur of what appear to be scratches overlaid one on the other, as light objects such as the window clasp or items on the table repeatedly change their position, even for a short period, and this movement is recorded. In such areas of the photo the clarity of forms disintegrates into abstract patterns.
