ABSTRACT
Experiential learning is often cited as one of the most effective methods of learning. Experience leads to an understanding that cannot be gained though simply reading or listening to others. My experience as an exchange student within the EU-Canada Exchange Project has proved to be rewarding both professionally and personally and I have gained new insights into the value of sharing information, ideas and experiences. Experience adds a whole new dimension to a subject and allows a student the opportunity to integrate information, thought, and feelings. In this chapter. I will reflect upon the exchange and what I have learned.
